Tyler, Me and my Canon Fifty-D

Tonight I had the opportunity to take a walk in our "neighborhood" with my oldest, Tyler. I love evening walks and what a bonus to have Ty with me! We walked along together. He talking about extraordinary things and me taking pictures of ordinary things along the way. He taught me all about robots! Did you know that my father in law is a "Cyborg"? Apparently it is true- because he wears a hearing aid. My husband plays with "Drones" when he flies his RC planes!
I love my son and his thirst for knowledge-praying that it will continue to carry through with his biblical knowledge and translate into godly wisdom!
Here are some pictures of the ordinary things.

The corn is starting to grow!

STOP! and look at the view at the end of our road.

Our house between the trees.

Some critter's home. I liked their landscaping!

Home of the annual corn maze.

How green is the valley!

Not sure what this is, but I saw it so I took a picture.

I love how the setting sun through the trees highlights small areas.

Had fun trying to capture it in these few pictures.

This is what I captured when I got back home. My other 2! And just where else would they be but in the water!

Baby Abigail

On Saturday I had the privilege of meeting and photographing sweet little Abigail and her Mom and Dad. What a beauty she is and oh so friendly. It took no time at all for her to put on her smile. And have you ever seen such beautiful eyes?

A couple in the tutu that her mommy made for her.

Sweet smiles for her Daddy.

Don't you love her little foot?

Love her little mouth in this one.

2 of my favorites.

With her favorite little toy.

Thank you Gen and Jeff for the opportunity to photograph your little family. It was a joy to meet you and your sweet little girl.

Dandy Lions

Dandelions-weeds to most people, and even to me when I'm not in "photographer" mode! Today though, I saw this beautiful field of dandelions and I knew I had to take Kate there for some photos. She always so sweetly and willingly obliges me when I have these ideas! Thanks Katie!

"Okay honey. Take off your shoes and just run around for a while." Quietly I pray there are no bees around! And off she goes, pirouetting in the sunshine! I love my little girlie girl!

So here are some of the pics from today with some different processing experiments.

All I can say is that I am sure glad this is not my lawn! Because as pretty as they actually are, they would have to die!

Florida part 3

In which I show you the strange birds and other creatures in Florida......

Blue Heron

Green Heron(Not sure why it is called that as it seems more purple and blue to me)

Don't know-hey what can I say, I am not an ornithologist.

Anhinga mama

Anhinga babe

Mr Aligator. (Okay so I don't really know if it is a Mr.)

I think the scientific name for these is: "Ducks"

Turns out there are some normal birds there too-a blue jay for instance

Mr. Aligator again, though he seems to be going undercover now. Glad I'm not one of those ducks!

The blue heron again

A Snowy Egret

See Mr. Principal, we really did do some educational things on this "Educational Family trip" I had to apply for! ;-)
